Dear Esteemed Delegates, Colleagues, and Life Members of the Indian Society of Extra Corporeal Technology (ISECT), It is with immense honour and joy that I extend my warmest greetings to each one of you as we prepare to convene for ISECTCON- 2026 in the spirited city of Mumbai, graciously hosted at the elegant Hotel Aurika.

This year’s(2026) conference holds special significance, arriving just one year after the momentous celebration of our Silver Jubilee—ISECTCON 2025, which was successfully held at the distinguished Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Delhi. That milestone marked a profound moment in our journey and now paves the way for continued growth and excellence.

ISECT stands proudly as the united voice of clinical perfusionists across India, unwavering in its commitment to both clinical excellence and social responsibility. Our fraternity plays a pivotal role in India’s evolving healthcare ecosystem—not only through life-saving procedures, but by fostering widespread awareness and advancement of Perfusion Sciences.

Now, as we integrate under the umbrella of Allied Health Sciences, this transition demands collective determination and strategic growth. Achieving independent code recognition is a pressing goal, essential for ensuring formal acknowledgment of perfusionists’ critical contributions to patient care and healthcare innovation. The evolving scope of perfusion practice—spanning heart transplantation, BiVAD support, IABP,ECMO therapy, and other advanced techniques—calls for amplified visibility and respect. Our expertise continues to shape outcomes in high-risk cardiothoracic surgeries and critical care, reaffirming the indispensable nature of our profession.
